Olympic figure skater Meryl Davis slammed pretty models for becoming spokespeople for athletic gear.

Last week the Dancing With The Stars contestant singled out Bella Hadid (who models for Nike) and Kylie Jenner (the face of Puma).

But Bella's mother Yolanda Foster isn't having any of it. And on Friday the blonde Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills vet fired back to TMZ, arguing Meryl doesn't know what she's talking about because before her daughter was diagnosed with Lyme disease, she was a top equestrian heading to the Olympics.

Foster told the site Bella was a competitive rider from age three until 15. But Lyme disease slowed her down.

Yolanda also has been diagnosed with Lyme disease, something she has documented on her Instagram account.

It also would have been a danger for Bella - who recently split from singer The Weeknd - to keep riding competitively because she was often fatigued.

But she sure does look pretty in pink: Meryl should not be firing shots at anyone as she could have been easily slammed for competing on DWTS when she had an obvious edge with her figure skating background

So she forced to quit even though she was on track to compete in the Olympics.

That is when her sister Gigi Hadid stepped in and suggested Bella start modeling.

Soon Bella landed spreads in Elle magazine and now she is the face of Nike. 

Foster also quipped to TMZ: 'You obviously don't have to be an athlete to wear or enjoy Nike wear.'

Last week Meryl posted a photo of Bella in Nike, Kylie in Puma and Aly Raisman in Reebok.

Her caption read: 'I'll take the one promoted by the athlete please.' 

Kylie appears to be the only one of the three that is not an athlete. And she recently admitted she does not work out. Her sister Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, however, are known for their intense workouts.

Davis was paired with Maksim Chmerkovskiy and went on to win the 18th season of the ABC show.
