Sophie Wessex showed off a flawless winter wardrobe as she helped to unveil a new painting at the Royal Military Academy today. 

The Countess of Wessex looked chic in a two piece black suit with matching suede knee high boots. 

She was at the Academy in Camberley in her role as Colonel in Chief of Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps.

The Countess' blonde hair was swept back to reveal gold, starfish shaped earrings, and she she also wore a gold brooch.

A snakeskin clutch under her arm completed the look at the Royal Military Academy. 

One of the Countess' links to the military is her role as Colonel-in-Chief of Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps, which is the nursing branch of the British Army.

The 51-year-old mother-of-two was in Camberley for the second day running, after opening Portesbery School there yesterday.

The Countess showed off a more colourful side in front of the cameras yesterday, in grey trousers, a grey polo neck and a bright blue coat.
