Last week Jennifer and Chris appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and the Oscar winner praised her leading man for helping her out when she was afraid of the stunt work required for Passengers.

'He’s much, much nicer than me. He’s like a hard worker, he has a good attitude, he’s very positive. I’m just like, “When are we leaving?”' she said.

'And he had to do basically everything because I suffer from paranoia mixed with delusions. So I thought that if I were in a harness I would never be able to bear children. So he took care of all the harness work. He did all of it.'

Running out of time: The star is then shown flailing her arms around and desperately trying to get back to the surface

Will she make it?: Viewers will have to wait until the movie's release to see what happens

Cliffhanger: The dramatic clip ends with Jennifer trying to reach for the surface

When Ellen asked Jennifer if she really believed that might happen, she said with a laugh, 'Yes, I'm sick.'

'I put in on for one second and was like, “Hell no.” I mean I had to ultimately do it, I just complained a lot,' she added, before joking that she didn't 'really' know what the part entailed.

Chris agreed that it was hard to give the 'illusion of zero gravity' while sporting a 75lbs spacesuit, saying it was 'tough to figure out'.

Shrouded in mystery: The film is much anticipated and a first trailer for it was only released in September

Not long now: The exciting Morten Tyldum-directed movie will be released on December 21

Meanwhile Jennifer also discussed how great it was to have Chris's wife Anna Faris and their four-year-old son Jack visit the Passengers set.

'Oh my God, they’re so cute,' Jen said. 'And his son is a genius, and Anna is nice and hilarious.

'And they’re like in love, they look like a Nicholas Sparks novel. You know when you see people who are so happy, it just makes you miserable,' she added with a laugh.

Interesting concept: In the flick, passengers on the spacecraft have voluntarily left Earth

Firm friends: Jennifer and Chris formed a strong bond while working together on the movie
