Jessica Origliasso confirmed she was dating Ruby Rose earlier this month after they filmed a music video together.

And now the film clip which sparked the romance has finally been released - and it's every bit as steamy as fans would expect.

Jessica, 31, and Ruby, 30, play lovers in the video for The Veronica's new single On Your Side, which premiered on Friday.

The clip features sexually suggestive scenes between Jessica and Ruby, who previously dated back in 2008.

The music video's plot follows the love story of two women, one of whom is battling drug addiction.

In one scene, the real-life girlfriends stare deeply into each other's eyes while lying in bed wearing lingerie.

She added: 'Lisa and I have always been drawn to unconventional and honest storytelling through our music. 'Ruby brought this to the forefront in our video.'

Jessica and Ruby confirmed on Instagram earlier this month they had rekindled their relationship.
