Blue hair don't care! Nicole Scherzinger shows off edgy style in skin-tight leather and turquoise top knots as she leads the pack at Chain of Hope charity ball

She never fails to make a statement with her glamorous floor-length gowns on the X Factor.

But Nicole Scherzinger opted for a much grungier look on Friday night, as she headed to The Chain of Hope Annual Ball at Grosvenor House in London.

The singer, 38, stood out from the crowds in an edgy leather suit teamed with vibrant blue top knots, as she headed to the star-studded charity bash - which raises money for children with heart disease.

The X Factor judge turned heads of all in the event as she ditched the traditional ball gown in favour of a skin-tight leather ensemble instead.

The fitted trousers clung to each and every curve of her body, elongating and emphasising her enviable long and toned legs.

Meanwhile the matching jacket softly skimmed her slender top frame and featured a chunky gold zip, which sexily ran all the way down her front.

Packing more of a punch, the co-ordinating top was then decorated with bold fringing at each side, giving the look even more of a punk feel.

Adding a splash of colour to her all-black outfit however, the former Pussycat Doll then styled her hair into two high top knots - which she had dyed a vibrant shade of turquoise blue for the occasion.

Keeping the focus on her bold style statement, the Right There singer completed her look with simple but classic stiletto ankle boots, and a sweeping of highlighter and bronzer to contour and define her naturally stunning features.

Nicole, who is currently dating tennis ace Grigor Dimitrov, looked more than ready for her night out as she strutted her stuff on the London streets, showing no signs of fatigue from her hectic week.

The brunette jetted back to California just days ago to attend the the star-studded premiere of her new animated movie, Moana, starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

The Hawaiian-born beauty had dazzled as she hit the red carpet at the iconic El Capitan Theatre on Monday evening, wearing a stunning white gown with a dramatic train.

Classically glamorous: The leather look is a far cry from Nicole's usual show-stopping gowns worn on the X Factor - but proved just as effective and eye-catching

Glamorous: TOWIE's Danielle Armstrong also headed to the ball in a more traditional ballgown of navy blue, featuring a pleated skirt and chic metallic silver belt

Nicole turns her hand to acting in the Dreamworks movie, which is set for release next Friday, by voicing the character of Sina - a young woman who uses her navigational talents to set sail to a fabled island.

However the former girlfriend of Lewis Hamilton has since returned to the UK ahead of Saturday night's X Factor live show.

The show judge has two acts, Ryan Lawrie and Matt Terry, left in the ITV1 talent competition - after Freddy Parker was eliminated in the show's second week.

Glamour puss: Styling her bob into tousled waves and adding a slick of peach lipstick, the reality star oozed the famous Essex glamour she is so known for

Yet, tensions are set to run high on the next set of live shows after Ryan landed himself in the bottom two last week - while controversial rapper act Honey G sailed through.

The ball, which celebrated the charity's 20 year anniversary, was a star-studded affair - with a range of names and faces from across the showbiz world making an appearance on the carpet.

TOWIE's Danielle Armstrong went for a very different look to Nicole - opting for a traditional navy ball gown with a trendy high-neck.

Reality affair: Joining her were fellow reality stars Stephanie Pratt (L) and Tiffany Watson (R), of Made in Chelsea fame

The buxom blonde's ensemble flattered her womanly figure by skimming her body in soft pleats, while she cinched in her middle with a metallic belt.

Tiffany was not afraid to show off her enviably gym-honed figure in a rather raunchy black gown.

Although secured by a high choker neck, the dress featured a plunging cut out at her chest to allude to her cleavage, while the skirt separated into a risqué double split at the front, leaving most of her long pins on show.

Formed of thick, shining black material, the number nipped in at her middle to emphasise her unbelievably petite waist, before falling softly to meet her chunky leather heels.

Old-school glamour: Tiffany was later seen leaving the event with boyfriend Sam Thompson (above) with a chic fur cape draped across her shoulders

Standing out: Meanwhile co-star Stephanie Pratt competed to be the best blonde on the carpet in her gown, which brightened things up with its vibrant fuschia hue

Matching her accessories perfectly, the supermodel then layered a chunky silver and pearl necklace across the dress' plunging sweetheart neckline and carried a simple black box clutch.
