'Last night was lit!' Paris Hilton plays DJ set in Sydney as her Australian Gold Rush tour continues and reveals 'excitement' at being back

She announced her Gold Rush DJ tour in late October with promoters describing the event as no less than 'MASSIVE'.

And on Saturday, fans filled Sydney's Marquee nightclub to see Paris Hilton play in her first pit stop on her Australian tour.

The American-born socialite, known for her stints as a reality star, took to social media to share her excitement after the show and said: 'Last night was lit AF'.

The 35-year-old blonde bombshell added, 'I love you Sydney Australia' alongside a picture of herself performing in front of a throng of excited fans.

Prior to her Sydney show, Paris took to Instagram to gush over her arrival in the Harbour city admitting she was 'excited' to be back.

'Hey Sydney! So excited to be back in one of my favorite cities in the world!,' she started.

'Can't wait to see you for my party Tonight at @MarqueeSydney! Going to be a crazy fun night!,' she finished adding the hash-tags 'Paris In Australia' and 'Gold Rush Tour'.

On Saturday night, Paris was seen wearing a plunging black mini dress with silver fringing along the bottom.

The chic ensemble was paired with leather gloves, which featured eyes and whiskers sewn onto the front so the accessory resembled kittens.

Paris opted for dark shadow on her eyelids and lashings of mascara, while wearing a nude lip and a light blush to contour her cheeks. 

Her hair was in loose waves and fell over her shoulders as she posed for pictures on the Marquee red carpet.

Photos from the gigs show the celebrity DJ lighting up the stage and lifting her arms in excitement.

Fans were seen screaming and raising their arms as confetti, pink lights and smoke machines engulf the crowded room.

The next stop on her Australia tour will take Paris to Brisbane's Fluffy nightclub on Sunday.

Promoters said: 'This is MASSIVE. Fluffy is gearing up to play host to one of the world-renowned icons of our time as part of her international Gold Rush Tour.'
