Melania Trump and Barron stepped out of Trump Tower for lunch on Thursday leaving behind the president-elect who is hard at work on finalizing his cabinet for the White House.

The new first lady was spotted sporting a chic, knee-length red coat that was draped around her shoulders.

Underneath, the 46-year-old former model wore a casual grey, long sleeved dress and walked effortlessly in her Christian Louboutin pumps.

As Melania and Barron enjoyed some quality time together outside of Trump Tower, the Republican's older children got down to business with their father inside, as numerous political and business elites have been spotted entering and exiting the well-secured building throughout the day.

The real estate mogul along with several members of his family are having meetings as Trump' transition team helps decide who will be by his side in the White House.

Likely included in those meetings is his oldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, who was spotted leaving her apartment building on Thursday morning heading to Trump Tower.

Trump's camp has not yet revealed the choices he's made for his Cabinet.

He had plans to meet with a number of other Republican officials on Thursday, including South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, Florida Governor Rick Scott, and Texas Rep Jeb Hensarling.
