It’s a wrap!

Well…it happened! We did it. With the help of all you lovely people we brought CSForum Down Under, and we had a blast – hopefully you did too. So thank you to everyone who supported us – speakers, attendees, sponsors and event crew. You guys are the real MVP.

  • Sketchy conference

If you were on social media during CSForum you may have noticed these awesome sketchnotes popping up. They’re illustrated by talented attendee Amelia Schmidt.

Check out @meelijane for more of her gorgeous notes.

  • CSForum does Melbourne

Kerry-Anne and Richard are overwhelmed by cake, Jonathon does the Melbourne thing with coffee, Jess gets UXing, and Elizabeth shows off the Yarra.

  • We found our people

No snakes on a plane but plenty of speakers on this tram. It was a bit of a job escorting this lot to St Kilda for the speaker dinner, but we got there in the end. As Jonathon Colman captioned this: ‘I found our people’.

  • Connect Labs

It was great to have Connect Labs onboard as a sponsor, especially with their series of great posts on content strategy. Always a risk being around these two (Lennie and Soumya) in conversation – it never stops!

  • Timekeeping talents

Our event crew Alex was responsible for timekeeping – luckily she was able to put her Michaelangelo-like talents to use. From left to right the boards are for Max Johns, David and Paul from Suncorp, Hawk (obviously), Rebekah and Leticia (Mooney).

  • Speakers meet the locals

Rebekah gets cosy with a koala, Hawk looks vaguely terrified of a koala, Kristina and Michael meet a wallaby, and Rebekah’s snap shows off the Great Ocean Road.

  • An audience engrossed

We love this shot of Mel – one of our event crew – engrossed by the conversation on twitter while being snapped by our talented photographer Paulina Hryniewiecka.

Paulina also captures the similarly engrossed audience in the auditorium.

  • Love on Twitter

A few of our favourite tweets: Elle reps Sydney-siders, Rahel and Max showing us some love, Kelly Langdon proves why everyone loved Wongy, David Kennedy captures the beginning of the CSForum adventure and Kristina captures the essence of Hilary Marsh’s talk.

  • CS snapshots

More great photos from our super photographer Paulina. We’ll soon be providing a link for the full gallery. Watch this space.

  • #csforum16 trends at no.2

CSForum went mad on Twitter! We actually trended at number 2 in Australia on the Wednesday 😎🏆🎉

  • CSF speaker interviews

CSF head office did some pretty cool interviews with a few of our speakers – definitely worth the read.
