Jennifer Garner laughs happily with a friend as she makes a solo outing to church

She was in the company of her estranged husband and two children at last week's service.

However, Jennifer Garner opted to go solo this time as she made her way to church on Sunday in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The 44-year-old actress looked bundled up in a thick scarf and cardigan on the chilly November day as she went for her weekly trip to her Pacific Palisades church.

Smart: The actress was wearing a classic outfit of skirt and sweater

The mother-of-three dressed smartly in an off-white cardigan and a loose black skirt that stopped just above her knees.

She added a pair of light grey loafers to her ensemble and a black purse that slung over her shoulder, rounding out with a knitted grey-and-white scarf.

The 13 Going On 30 star tied her hair back in a low bun, parted in the middle, and threw on large-rimmed sunglasses.

Jennifer looked to be in great spirits upon her arrival as she let out a bright grin after she was greeted by a church member.

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty was recently spotted grabbing breakfast with Ben Affleck on Saturday.

The estranged couple - who together raise daughters Violet, 10, Seraphina, seven, and son Samuel, four, have certainly been maintaining an amicable relationship since announcing their split in June 2015 after 10 years of marriage.

While the pair have yet to start divorce proceedings, the two have been spotted together quite often with and without their children, including a family trip in Europe earlier this summer.

Since the news, Jennifer has also been busy with her professional life.

It was just announced that the Alias star will next voice Mama Llama in next year's Netflix animated series based on Anna Dewdney's Llama Llama book series.

The actress said she was very excited to get the part as it was a book she had read to her children hundreds of times.
