Convicted paedophile and former Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins is alleged to have sent three Tweets while serving 35 years in prison for child sex offences. A Twitter account belonging to Watkins (right), who was jailed for 29 years in 2013, published three tweets linking to the music website, SoundCloud, yesterday.  One of the tweets (left) said: 'New! SEQUENCE INITIATED', and featured a link to a seven second track that features a woman saying 'L'Amour La Morgue' repeatedly.

Rocco Richie (pictured left) was stopped and searched by police in Camden, London after he was seen 'smoking or doing drugs' near his Primrose Hill home. Earlier this year the teenage was at the centre of a bitter custody dispute between his Guy Richie (pictured bottom right with Rocco) and Madonna (pictured top left with her son). The disagreement began in December 2015 during a falling out between Rocco and his musician mother when he abandoned her Rebel Hearts tour. Guy Richie's lawyers argued Rocco was settled in school in London and, in September, he won the bitter nine month battle over where their son should live. It has been claimed that Madonna thought Guy 'had poisoned her son against her' and, 'as the disciplinarian [parent], she felt guy was way too permissive'.

A Labour MP has claimed the England football team's dire performances are because not enough of them came from comprehensive schools. Stella Creasy cited Government research as she challenged Tory MP John Redwood's assertion that because being scouted as an elite footballer as a child could be life changing, selection would work in other fields as well. A report on 'elitist Britain' said 13 per cent of England's team were privately educated - better than many other sports but double the share of the whole population. Challenging Mr Redwood, Ms Creasy said: 'Do you think that might account for the performance of our national football team, if we're missing out on the talent that exists in the comprehensive sector?'

Her father Tahvo has contacted police and is waiting for Embla to be relocated before he flies to Italy for a reunion. Baffled Italian authorities had been struggling to identify the young woman, who only responds in English, after she was found sleeping in a piazza in central Rome. Campaigners said she looked like a number of missing girls and even Madeleine McCann, the British toddler who vanished on holiday with her family in Praia da Luz, Portugal in 2007. Mr Jauhojärvi said his daughter suffered from Asperger's and that he had not heard from her for six months.

They shared every second of their lives together until last month.  But Jadon and Anias McDonald, twins conjoined at the crown of their heads, never caught a glimpse of their closest companion.  In October, the 13-month-old boys were successfully separated in a grueling, life-threatening 27-hour operation at Montefiore Hospital. And a month later, as they make an historically rapid recovery, they have been pictured looking at each other for the first time. Airport security Col. Abd Al-Rahim Al-Dale'i was executed by ISIS militants as he climbed into a car in war-torn Aden, a port city in the south of Yemen. Although no group initially claimed responsibility, Islamic State later released the first person footage of the callous attack. The billionaire socialite daughter of Uzbekistan's former dictator, Gulnara Karimova (pictured), is reported to have died after being poisoned. Karimova, who was once described as the country's 'single most hated person', had reportedly been locked up in a mental institution by her father's successor. She had been groomed to take over from her father Islam Karimov - who ruled the country with an iron fist until his death earlier this year - but she fell out of favour with him in 2013 after nude pictures of her emerged.

Never-before-seen photographs of Edward VIII's wedding to his divorcee lover Wallis Simpson have come to light 80 years after he sparked a constitutional crisis. Edward became king in 1936 and was on the throne for 11 months before abdicating because of his relationship with the American socialite. The pictures of their modest wedding was taken on a 'rogue' camera by guest Alexandra Metcalfe, who was one of just a handful of people to attend the wedding. The black-and-white images document the understated union that took place at a remote French chateau on June 3, 1937.

The malnourished stray (left) had been living a miserable life, scratching around for food in rubbish bins and roaming the streets of Istanbul in Turkey. When the seven-year-old girl found the unloved animal, it was emaciated, had one ear missing and could barely open its right eye. She plucked the cat from a gap rubbish bins and took it home, pleading with her father to help save its life. With the help of a vet, the family were gradually able to nurse Gülümser - which means 'she who always smiles' - back to health (right). Pictures show how the cat and her young saviour are now inseparable (inset).

The haunting pictures show the secure Nazi bunkers and fortified gun batteries that were dotted along the Atlantic coast in occupied Europe.
