And Monday was no different for Christina Milian as she attended the Gabrielle's Angel Foundation For Cancer Research Hosts Angel Ball in New York City.

The 35-year-old singer put on a busty display as she oozed old Hollywood glamour in a skintight plunging gown with white fur shawl.

A flowing train that was adorned with textured floral embellishments accompanied the starlet's dress.

She wore her silky raven tresses stick straight and parted down the centre for a dramatic look.

The brunette beauty recently celebrated as it was learned she would be walking in the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show after trying out for five years. 

It was a big night as proceeds earmarked toward the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. 

The foundation was set up by Grammy-nominated songwriter and philanthropist, Denise Rich in 1996 after her 27-year-old daughter Gabrielle lost her battle with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). 

Along with Gabrielle's sisters Daniella and Ilona, Denise has created in her memory, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research, that funds the best scientific investigators in the US with the hope that less toxic treatments, and ultimately a cure, might be discovered.
