West was already being checked out for issues linked to sleep deprivation, insiders close to the Gold Digger singer told the outlet, noting that the attending physician made the call to admit him into the hospital. The Bound 2 rapper's wife Kim Kardashian - who has been keeping a low profile less than two months after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris October 3 - abruptly left New York City in the wake of the news, according to TMZ.
