Lacy lady! Ariana Grande flashes extremely toned midriff in sexy see-through crop top at 2016 American Music Awards

She is not only up for Artist Of The Year, but is also set to perform one of her newest hits that evening.  

And Ariana Grande ensured her red carpet look would be one for the books as she arrived to the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, rocking her ace sense of style. 

The 23-year-old dressed up her petite physique in a extremely sexy sheer lace crop top along with chic white trousers and black platform heels.

Putting her fantastically toned midriff on full show, the hit-maker was clearly not shy as she expertly posed for photographers. 

The Way singer slicked her long straight locks up into her signature ponytail, as she also touched up her complexion with a dramatic slick of cat eye style eyeliner, bold red lips, and mascara.  

Ariana indeed looked gorgeous, but her jewelry also threatened to steal some of the attention away from her complexion. 

The hit-maker accessorized her look with a gorgeous diamond choker necklace, studded earrings, and several rings.

It was just another winning look for Ariana, who is competing for one of the night's top honours - Artist Of The Year. 

The awards are given to those with the most votes, something Ariana says holds a special place in her heart.

'I saw my fans voting their a**es off online and I appreciate them so much,' she told E!'s Jason Kennedy on the awards show red carpet.

'I love them from the bottom of my heart no matter what. I appreciate all of that, but at the same time I don't need an award to let me know how much they love me.' 

The popstrel is no stranger to success at the awards show, as last year she was awarded Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, and was crowned New Artist Of The Year in 2013.

This last year has seen Ariana release her third studio album, Dangerous Woman, which contains Side To Side, a song she will be performing Sunday night with Nicki Minaj.

Ariana has the support of not just her fans, but also her beloved grandmother Marjorie 'Nonna' Grande.

The hit-maker shared a photo of her proud grandmother sitting inside what appeared to be her dressing room, along with the caption, 'omg.......... this queen just walked right in ten minutes after my last post to surprise me. my heart...I love you.'
