She's left viewers hot under the collar after stripping down to her bikini in the steamy I'm A Celeb jungle.

But Ola Jordan's husband James has revealed his dancer wife suffers from severe confidence issues regarding her weight.

The former Strictly Come Dancing pro has been glued to the TV for the past week as his wife and fellow dancer competes on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here, but has explained that while his wife appears confident she worries about her looks.

'She can look at food and put on weight, whereas I've got a very fast metabolism. If she ate what I ate she'd balloon,' he explains.

James adds that Ola has been on a diet since she was a teenager, which is how she maintains her body, but even during her nine years on Strictly with its rigorous training regime she struggled.

'She always said it was a fight for her to get down to a certain weight so she didn't look like one of the chubby dancers on the show,' says James.

The dancer, who quit Strictly in 2014, also reveals that Ola was worried about going make-up free in the jungle as she's suffered with severe acne for the past decade, leaving scars on her face.

Ola herself has admitted that when she isn't watching what she eats and working out regularly she puts on weight.

It was while training for another reality show, Channel 4's The Jump in 2014 that she piled on the pounds after suffering a torn ligament in her knee, which left her on crutches.

Speaking earlier this year Ola admitted she had to fend off pregnancy rumours while she was recuperating.

While James insists his wife is lacking in confidence, gorgeous Ola has sent pulses racing in the iconic jungle shower during her first week on ITV's I'm A Celeb.

Last week, Ola's husband admitted on Lorraine that he had taken his sexy wife shopping for bikinis that 'covered everything'.

The Big Brother star explained his stunning wife was being careful about showing off too much in those inevitable jungle shower scenes, with James explaining: 'When we go on holiday, normally she wears slightly more skimpy [bikinis] because people might not know who we are there.

'But we went bikini shopping [before the jungle] because she wanted to make sure everything was more covered up,' he said, gesturing to his behind.
