The sincerest form of flattery! Keke Palmer channels Rihanna's sexy chainmail look from 2014 at American Music Awards

Keke Palmer certainly made sure to grab attention at the American Music Awards on Sunday.

The 23-year-old stuck with the tradition of the award show's 'the flashier the better theme' as she stepped out in a revealing mesh creation for the 44th annual ceremony held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The Scream Queens star exuded major confidence as she flashed a lot of flesh in a see-through crop top and matching mini-skirt.

Sheer display! Keke Palmer stepped out in a see-through mesh creation for the 2016 American Music Awards held at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday

Keke commanded attention as she hit the red carpet in her jaw-dropping look that left little to the imagination.

She surely covered up her more intimate areas with nipple pasties and nude unmentionables.

Her silver mesh crop top put her taut tummy on display while the matching mini emphasized her lean legs.

And she added extra height to her five-foot-six stature with a pair of strappy metallic stilettos.

Step out in style with these Saint Laurent sandals

Keke Palmer cut a striking figure when she attended the AMAs in a chainmail crop top and skirt that she paired with chic metallic sandals. While her RihRih inspired look is a bit out there, we can definitely see ourselves in her sandals.

Her shoes are by Saint Laurent and the 'Jane' sandals are a staple of the French brand. We've spotted this same style on the red carpet a number of times thanks to their simple, barely there silhouette.

They are the perfect accompaniment to a silky slip dress or an LBD when you want to impress on a night on the town. Click over to Net-a-Porter to make them yours now!

But don't let that stop you from emulating Keke's style. Nab a similar pair from the edit below - the ones from Asos are a steal!

Keke accessorized with silver earrings and a thick choker necklace which looked like an extension of her sheer top.

She styled her pixie length tresses straight and added a silver shimmery eye shadow to her lids along with a clear gloss to her pout.

To combat the dropping temperatures in L.A. and the rare rain, the beauty layered a plush pink fur coat over her scantily clad look.

Having a Rihanna moment: Keke was definitely channeling the Bajan beauty's look from the 2014 CFDA Awards

Keke also topped her ensemble off with a pair of pink metal aviators which perfectly matched her warm top layer.

The Grease: Live star seemed to take inspiration from Rihanna's 2014 CFDA Awards look.

The Bajan beauty wore an equally revealing chainmail look with matching head attire and fur shrug.

The beauty appeared in high spirits as she arrived ahead of the star-studded show which airs tonight on ABC.
