Loose Women fans flock to Twitter after Coleen Nolan introduces WRONG clip of X Factor's Ryan Lawrie

Coleen Nolan was left red-faced after she insisted on Ryan Lawrie's Sunday night X Factor sing off being played on Loose Women, only for the wrong clip to be shown.

Host Andrea McLean apologised for the gaffe on Monday's show following an ad break, adding that Coleen had been frantically yelling that it was the wrong clip while it was being played.

Instead of Ryan's rendition of Ed Sheeran's Lego House appearing on the big screen, the Scottish singer's version of Oasis classic Stop Crying Your Heart Out from a previous sing off was shown.

Prior to the error, the panel had been discussing the judges' decision to send Ryan home instead of novelty rapper Honey G.

Singer Coleen pointed out that Ryan sang the entire first verse of his song out of key which made the decision to keep Honey fair.

Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to notice the mistake with the clip of Ryan, with many taking to Twitter to let the Loose Women producers know.

Meanwhile, Ryan had his say on his exit when he spoke to This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield earlier in the day.

Speaking about Honey G, he said: 'I feel like (she does) what Keith Lemon does. Like a character she portrays.

'I didn’t really see her that much to be honest. She keeps herself to herself, she goes to her room and rehearses a lot.

'The accent changed – sometimes she will be really posh, sometimes street talk. I think she’s really smart and she knows what she’s doing.'
