'She's of the age where she's trying different things': Victoria and David Beckham's daughter Harper 'is in training with the English National Ballet'

Her mother used to strut her dance moves daily as part of the Spice Girls, and now it seems Harper Beckham is following suit by taking up ballet lessons.

According to a source, the five-year-old has landed a spot training with the English National Ballet, The Sun reports.

It would seem, however, that it's not Victoria that does the ballet run, but David - who also enjoys hanging out with the other parents there.

'She goes every week and David takes her to training himself and hangs out with the other dads there. It’s really sweet,' said the source.

'Harper is of the age now where she is trying loads of different things but she really loves going to ballet.

'Both David and Victoria love watching her perform and helping her practise too.'

Victoria is supposedly a ballet enthusiast; and along with David, with his background in sports training, Harper has the dream team of parents to help her hone her talent.

On top of this, the school is one of the most renowned in the country, and it's junior classes are much sought after amongst parents hoping to encourage their children to take up dance.

Harper's first introduction to ballet came last year when Victoria took her to see the Nutcracker at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

The enchanting story famously follows young Clara as she creeps downstairs on Christmas Eve to play with her favourite present – a Nutcracker - only for the mysterious magician Drosselmeyer to sweep her off on a magical adventure.

A mesmerising introduction to dance for any youngster, it's quite possible Harper was enthralled so much she requested lessons herself.

With both David and Victoria fashion icons, and David's sports career to look up to, Harper is growing up around several different influences.

Her brothers all play football, with eldest Brooklyn pursuing photography and Cruz a keen singer, like their former pop star mother.

It looks like ballet could be the creative route Harper will choose - but only time will tell.
