'Proud mummy': Victoria Beckham shares video of son Cruz singing Bieber ballad in the studio... as Justin praises his 'buddy' for 'great job' covering his track

He was once thought to be following in his footballer dad's footsteps.

But it looks like Cruz Beckham, 11, is instead taking after his mum as the former Spice Girl shared another video of her talented son singing on Monday.

A 'proud' Victoria uploaded an Instagram video of Cruz covering a Justin Bieber song in the studio, while Bieber himself tweeted on Monday that he did a 'great job.'

Victoria and her husband David both shared the video of Cruz singing Bieber's song Home To Mama on their Instagram pages with his mum gushing: 'Proud mummy,' while dad wrote: 

'I mean come on little man ... Cruz killing it in the studio singing Home To Mama ... ❤️'.

The 11-year-old can be seen dressed in a baggy red t-shirt and hat as he sings his heart out on the mic.

Retweeting Victoria's original post of the track, the 'Sorry' hitmaker wrote: 'Young Cruz! Great job buddy #hometomama (sic)'

The budding pop star showed off his impressive vocals on the audio platform with the help of his idol and Australian singer Cody Simpson by digitally mixing their voices.

The supportive Beckham brood simultaneously shared a sweet snap of the youngster playing the guitar onto their individual Instagram pages, while gushing over his talent.

Brooklyn, 17, proved he was a proud brother as he captioned the shot: 'Check out my little brother singing with @codysimpson and #justinbieber.' 

Meanwhile mum Victoria shared the link to her 10 million Twitter followers, entitled: 'Cute!! X Cruz and @justinbieber x VB'.

Cruz's rendition of the hit song may have just scored him his own allegiance of adoring fans as the track received a whopping 10,000 plays within the first hour of being released and by Monday had been been listened to on SoundCloud 149,000 times and attracted almost 2,500 likes.

Earlier this year, Victoria shared an adorable Instagram video of the 11-year-old singing Twista and Faith Evans' song Hopeful.

Keeping in tune to the R&B song flawlessly, it's clear the youngster has a talent, and fans of the Beckhams have gone wild for him on social media. 

Many remarked that Victoria and David's son as the new Justin Bieber, and he certainly had an air of the Canadian superstar about him with his dulcet acappella tones, swaying movements and brushed aside fringe.

With his brothers Brooklyn, 17, and Romeo, 14, already carving out careers at young ages - Brooklyn has dabbled in modelling and is a keen photographer, while Romeo is a Burberry model - Cruz has tended to stay out of the limelight. 

Victoria only noticed Cruz had a talent for singing a few months ago when she heard him singing along to the radio while sitting in the back of the family car.

The Spice Girls star said: 'He's always the one that plays football, and he was just singing in the back of the car one day. And he was singing, and I was like, "Wow, you can really sing." And then he picked up his cups and off he went.'
