Gigi Hadid, 21, co-hosted the 2016 American Music Awards Sunday night in Los Angeles with Jay Pharoah.

Although the older Hadid sister is getting flack from some for her Melania Trump impression during the show's opening, few can take issue with her flawless beauty look.

Here, Gigi's hair and make-up pros reveal the products they used to give the model her 1970s-inspired vibe.

That '70s show! Gigi Hadid, 21, wanted her glamorous hair and make-up to reflect the 1970s vibe of the dress she wore to the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday night in L.A.

Unsurprisingly, Gigi, who is an ambassador for Maybelline New York, wore products from the brand for her red-carpet appearance and hosting duties.

Of Gigi's look, make-up artist Erin Parsons said, 'Tonight we wanted to evoke a bronzed, youthful glow inspired by the young starlets of the '70s.'

THE MAKE-UP

First, she applied a foundation with a demi-matte finish to give Gigi a 'soft and velvety' complexion. Then, to give her a bronzed glow, Erin applied the Maybelline New York Master Contour Duo Stick in #6 and the Maybelline New York Facestudio Master Contour Face Contour Kit in Light to Medium to contour the high planes of the face.

She then used a strobing stick to illuminate the cheekbones and brushed on a bit of loose powder to set the look and give it a flawless finish.

For Gigi's modern disco eyes, Erin first put on a wash of light shimmery pink shadow and defined the crease with a deep nude color.

To really make her eyes pop, Erin rimmed the top and bottom waterlines with a jet black liner and coated upper and lower lashes with several coats of mascara.

On Gigi's lips, Erin applied a 'beautiful coral pink color to pop against the white of the dress'.

To get the color, the make-up artist first applied Maybelline New York Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color in All Fired Up as the base and then added Maybelline New York Color Sensational The Loaded Bold Lipsticks in Nude Thrill on top.

THE HAIR

Volume WAY up: Hairstylist Bryce Scarlett used a blow-dryer, flatiron and curling iron to give Gigi big, bouncy curls and lots of height at the top of her hair

Celebrity hairstylist Bryce Scarlett was responsible for Gigi's gorgeous curls.

'For her red-carpet look, Gigi was wearing a gorgeous white lace gown that had a sexy '70s vibe, and we wanted her hair to reflect that, too,' said Bryce.

'We took inspiration from Lauren Hutton and went for brushed-back curls that would look glamorous, but still effortless.'

A good blow-dry was key to this look. Bryce used a round, natural bristle brush to blow Gigi's hair up and away from her face to get maximum volume. She then spritzed a thickening spray throughout the hair and backcombed it to build even more height.

'Since we wanted big voluminous curls, I used the ghd Soft Curl Iron to curl her hair,' said Bryce. 'The one-and-a-quarter-inch barrel creates nice, bouncy curls, which was exactly what we were going for.'

Once Gigi's hair was curled, Bryce brushed it back and teased the top for a little extra volume and used a flatiron to get rid of flyaways.

'Then, I set it all with hairspray and we were out the door for her big red-carpet reveal.'
