'I am very insecure when it comes to men': Katie Price reveals she's needy in love... as she admits she went to abort disabled son Harvey, 14, three times

Her lovelife has been full of drama and played out in the public eye.

And while she may come across as the confident glamour girl turned businesswoman, Katie Price, 38, has revealed that when it comes to men she's insecure.

She told the Daily Mirror: 'I want to be loved for me, for my humour and personality. I have lots of love to give. I am quite needy. I am very insecure when it comes to men. I want them to bombard me but they have to do it in the right way - if they are too keen I am not interested.'

In need of love: While she may come across as the confident glamour girl turned businesswoman, Katie Price, 38, has revealed that when it comes to men she's insecure

Katie has had high-profile relationships with ex footballers Dwight Yorke and Teddy Sheringham, pop stars Gareth Gates and Dane Bowers, and had two ex husbands - Peter Andre and cage fighter Alex Reid.

The mother-of-five's relationship woes with current husband Kieran Hayler have also been well-documented.

Katie recently admitted that she still wants Kieran to suffer after his ten-month fling with her ex best pal Jane Pountney, which took place two years ago.

She previously revealed seeing the two get up, close and personal on a sun lounger in Cape Verde left her wanting to 'drown in the sea'.

Loving mum: She's always supported her disabled eldest child Harvey, fighting his corner when vile online trolls abused the 14-year-old

Reflecting on the time, she said she considered ramming her car into a wall - even though she was pregnant with her husband's second child Bunny at the time.

Somewhat surprisingly, she told The Sunday Times Magazine: 'I have a sting. I will get my own back, even on Kieran. I always say to him, "You haven't had your karma yet, but something will happen – you'll see".

'I want him to go through all that hurt I went through, seeing all those pictures and text messages in The Sun – I wish he could feel the pain that I had, because it’s indescribable.'

Ups and downs: The mother-of-five's relationship woes with current husband Kieran Hayler have been well-documented

While her relationships have come and gone over the years, one constant has been Katie's love for her children.

She's always supported her disabled eldest child Harvey, who has Prader-Willi condition, autism and ADHD, fighting his corner when vile online trolls abused the 14-year-old.

But Katie admitted in her Mirror interview that she contemplated aborting Harvey numerous times when she was pregnant but couldn't do it.

'When I had Harvey,' she said. 'I found out at six-weeks-old that he was blind. That was a shock. If I had known when I was pregnant that he was going to be blind, I would have had trouble coping. I went to abort three times but I couldn't do it.

'But now I would have another disabled child all day long.'
