So it's no wonder Sarah Jessica Parker picked up a few tips from her along the way.

The talented 51-year-old actress was seen leaving her Townhouse in The West Village, New York on Tuesday in a laid back chic look.

The dark blonde beauty wore a pair of nude cigarette trousers with a orange and blue stripes down either sides of her leg.

She added a black tee and a smart nude blazer over the top as she wore a pair of flat bow style ballet shoes.

The Divorce actress had a black handbag strapped across her body as she also wore a silver chain.

Her long dark blonde tresses were styled naturally in a middle parting as she ran her hands through it whilst walking.

Meanwhile the actress, who is married to Matthew Broderick, is currently starring in the shit show Divorce on HBO.

The show follows a couple who go through a very long, drawn-out divorce and her character Frances is the one having the midlife crisis.

She stars opposite Thomas Haden Church and Molly Shannon in this comedy drama.

However, in the real world her marriage is better than ever.

She recently opened up about her marriage and kids to Net-A-Porter's The Edit.

'If I could revisit one moment in my life, it would be the birth of my children, definitely,' the actress revealed. 

'I only got to give birth once. James is like, "Why do you always want to talk about that?!" I’m like, "Because it’s the greatest." '

Parker gave birth to her and Broderick‘s son in 2002, before welcoming daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge via surrogate in June 2009.
