Fifth Harmony sizzle in red-hot performance at AMAs after Lauren Jauregui admits she's bisexual

They've sealed their place as the most successful alumni from the X Factor U.S.

And Fifth Harmony sizzled on stage at the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday.

Sexy performance: Fifth Harmony sizzled on stage at the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday

The Work From Home beauties showcased their curves in shabby chic flesh-toned costumes, as they cavorted on stage. 

Lauren Jauregui proudly strutted her stuff in a chic ensemble, after admitting she is bisexual in an open letter to Donald Trump, published in Billboard on Friday. 

As part of a longer comment on Trump's voters, the beauty wrote: 'I am a bisexual Cuban-American woman and I am so proud of it.

'I am proud to be part of a community that only projects love and education and the support of one another,' she added. 

The quintet didn't leave empty-handed, as they scooped a gong for Best Collaboration of the Year. 

They looked delighted with their first AMA, awarded for Work From Home, with Ty Dolla $ign.

Although they chose figure-hugging stone coloured outfits for the ceremony, after walking the red-carpet in revealing jet-black gowns. 

The stunning five-piece, who have sold 10 million units, looked to be in perfect harmony in their complementary outfits, with Lauren and Camila even picking outfits by the same designer, Fame and Partners. 

They upped the glamour with tower heels and fully vamped up tresses.

They were in good company as the brightest stars of the music industry turned out in force on Sunday night for the American Music Awards.

Model Gigi Hadid and former SNL funny man Jay Pharaoh acted as hosts.

Drake had the most nominations of any artist, with an impressive 12 nods to his name including Artist Of The Year, while a nomination for Rihanna's Work, which he features on, brings the number up to 13.

It's a record-breaking amount, with Michael Jackson previously holding the most American Music Award nominations in a single year when he received 11 for Thriller.  

Rihanna received seven nominations, while Adele and Justin Bieber gained five apiece.

Nominees for the title of New Artist Of The Year are Alessia Cara, The Chainsmokers, DNCE, Shawn Mendes and Zayn.

There is no overall song of the year category this year; instead honours will be handed out for best song in the categories of pop/rock, country, rap/hip-hop and soul/R&B. 

Viewers were treated to a host of performances during the evening, with Lady Gaga, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj among the performers.

The American Music Awards are now in their 44th year and fans were able to vote online or via Twitter, with voting for most categories closing on November 14.
