'It's disgusting!' Martin Roberts is reduced to tears following second furious argument with Danny Baker on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Having won the camp eight meals in his snake-filled Bush Tucker Trial, Martin Roberts was feeling elated on Sunday's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

But his glee was short-lived as dinner came to an end and he clashed once again with fellow new addition to the show, Danny Baker.

As they were cleaning up, Carol and Lisa both realised they needed more water.

Carol flagged this up to Adam who was part of the camp maintenance team with Martin.

Public humiliation: I'm A Celebrity's Danny Baker 'humiliates' Martin Roberts in their second on-screen argument leaving Martin sobbing alone in the jungle

Scarlett - who took over on Saturday as Camp President from Larry - suggested Martin join Adam as it was a lot of carrying, which Martin seemingly ignored, instead choosing to quibble over why there was no water, rather than fetch some more.

Danny chimed in at this point, saying: 'Martin, she’s the President mate, whatever she says to do, you do it.'

'Absolutely,' said Martin.

'Well you don’t, you always answer her back like she’s some silly kid and she isn’t,' snapped Danny.

'No, I don’t,' Martin objected.

'Yes you do, every single time mate,' Danny accused. 'She’s smart as a whip, she shouldn’t need me to step in but you do it too often.

Accusations: Danny scolded Martin for talking down to President Scarlett

Torn: Viewers took to Twitter to discuss the events of tonight's installment

'If she tells you to run down there and bring it up on the top of your head, then you run down there and bring it up on the top of your head, alright?'

Danny didn't drop it, adding: 'So we’ve had another row, you’ve took two steps forward and three steps backwards and it’s not just me, I’m the spokesman.'

'Is that right?' asked Martin.

'Yeah, Yeah I am,' said Danny, leading Martin to ask Scarlett for clarification.

'There is only so many times I can ask you politely,' she said timidly.

Not letting it go: Danny didn't drop it, adding: 'So we’ve had another row, you’ve took two steps forward and three steps backwards and it’s not just me, I’m the spokesman'

Clash of characters: Martin's glee was short-lived as dinner came to an end and he clashed once again with fellow new addition to the show, Danny Baker

Divided opinions: Fans of the show were either on Martin's side, or Danny's side, or neither

'I didn’t realise I wasn’t doing my bit, wow, okay, I shall make amends,' said Martin.

He disappeared off with Adam to replenish the water as told, only to return to an awkward atmosphere.

Most campmates then went to bed but Martin sat on a log and started to cry.

Wayne saw this and sat next to him to chat and Scarlett and Sam soon joined when they realised Martin had been crying.

'Everyone thinks I’m treating you badly,' Martin told Scarlett.

Scarlett calmly said: 'Danny was sticking up for me, I’ve been made President and I’m very flattered and my job is to make sure everyone else is doing their jobs.

Jungle tears: Wayne saw Martin crying and sat next to him to chat and Scarlett and Sam soon joined when they realised he was so upset by what had happened

'Everyone else 100 per cent gets stuck in but I’ve asked you over 20 times really politely and you just haven’t. Then as soon as one of the guys asks you, you do it.'

'I wasn’t aware I was ignoring your requests, I apologise,' Martin said through breathless sobs, wiping away his tears.

He concluded: 'Tomorrow’s a new day you won’t have to ask me twice to do anything.'

Saturday's tiff with Danny - which had been about Danny's gloating behaviour having won the live task - caused Twitter to erupt into a mostly negative slew of posts about how the two men had come onto the show and created tension.

Sunday's episode saw Danny and Martin become the topic of discussion again, this time with opinions divided over what had taken place.

While some branded Danny 'a bully', others called for Martin to 'man up'.

'Bully': Sunday's episode saw Danny and Martin become the topic of discussion again, this time with opinions divided over what had taken place

'Actually felt sorry for Martin there, nothing worse than feeling like everyone's against you,' came one concerned viewer's tweet.

'Not fair on Martin Roberts' kids to see their Dad break down like that - ITV should've edited that out!' echoed someone else.

'Why is Martin getting so much hate? Danny IS a bully. The way he treats Martin is disgusting and somehow he gets everyone on his side!' questioned another fan of the show.

On the flip side, others were hitting out against Martin.

'Martin didn't want his kids watching him in the trial in case he cried, but its ok to sit on a log in front of a fire whinging?' came a juxtaposing tweet.

Nominated: At the end of Sunday evening's episode, Danny nearly found himself nominated for the next Bush Tucker Trial - but in the end it was between him and soap star Adam, who was chosen instead

Someone else posted: 'Martin Roberts is driving me insane. Annoying, crying because the bigger boys told him to shut up and pull his weight!'

A third wrote: 'Martin is such a wet wipe. So passive aggressive and patronising!'

Others were fuming at Danny's behaviour.

'Danny & Scarlett are bullies. Can't believe campmates and viewers have allowed themselves to be manipulated into hating Martin,' one person remarked.

This was followed by another tweet which read: 'Danny is a nasty piece of work. He'll make Martin walk and then he'll be screwed as he's not man enough to pick on anyone else.'
