Fury: Marnie Simpson's boyfriend Lewis Bloor has come forward to assure fans that the Geordie Shore beauty is coping well following her row with MTV producers

Marnie is in the midst of filming the fourteenth series of the wildly popular show yet this season has been a shock as she is in a long distance romance with Lewis - undoubtedly making her stay difficult.

The couple met in the Celebrity Big Brother house in July and defied their critics, who claimed the union was a 'showmance', to come out on top as they remain a couple now.

After she was spotted screaming at producers who she claimed were holding her in the house when they failed to 'look out for her', Lewis was undoubtedly concerned.

The handsome star took to the microblogging site to assure fans: 'Spoke to my lovely gf today really cheered me up. Shes ok.. i can imagine its tough living with exes.. cant wait to get my arms round her (sic)'.

Geordie Shore stars are allowed limited phone access during filming stints, relying on an old-fashioned style red telephone box to contact their loved ones in recorded calls, meaning the couple's exchange may feature on the forthcoming series.

Lewis' hints at 'living with exes' alluded to Marnie's co-stars, including her ex-boyfriend Aaron Chalmers, former fling Gary 'Gaz' Beadle and Scott Timlin, who she enjoyed a brief flirtation with in her early appearances on the show.

As he admits it 'would be tough' to be in her situation, he appeared to imply Marnie found herself in such a state of distress due to her former loves.

The Essex-born hunk has been peppering his Twitter account with excited messages ahead of his reunion with the stunner after her prolonged filming stint. He penned: 'This time next week.... Theres not much i wouldnt give to make this next week fast forward...'

His excitement at the end of her filming comes after the duo revealed that they plan to move in together in Lewis' home county of Essex once Marnie finishes work.

Marnie's tearful rant at show producers and security at a Newcastle club saw her filmed perched on a railing outside the club as crew members tried to persuade her to go back to the Geordie Shore house.

Marnie was tearful as she yelled at producers, telling them: 'I'm 25 years of age, I'm going home! You're not looking out for us though making me go back to that f**king house.'

Later, she was seen crouched on the pavement outside the club as a producer tried to reason with her, only for the star to tearfully explain again that she just wanted to go home.
