The library offers access to a wide variety of e-books and databases with legal information. Our e-book collection includes various practice guides, legal treatises, and self-help materials that can be borrowed and read in your Web browser or on an e-reader like a Kindle or an iPad. Our legal databases provide access to downloadable legal forms, case law, law review articles, and other legal information. Use the links on this page to access our e-books and legal databases.
You will need your library card number and have your library account in good standing in order to borrow e-books and access most of our legal databases. Don't have a library account? Borrow e-Books
Library patrons can borrow a wide range of legal treatises and practice guides electronically as e-books via our OverDrive digital collection and our legal databases. Use the links below to browse our e-books by subject area.
In addition, you can search for an e-book by title, author, keyword, or subject matter, or you can browse an alphabetical listing of all the e-books.
Due to restrictions from the publisher, some e-books are restricted and can only be checked out from home by government employees. The restricted titles are the Texas Litigation Guide, the Texas Transaction Guide, Collier on Bankruptcy, and Moore's Federal Practice. These restricted titles are available both electronically and in print to patrons who visit the library in person.
