She's the star as well as executive producer of a new Netflix thriller series.

And Naomi Watts was spotted taking a stroll around the set of Gypsy in New York on Monday.

Accompanied by her bodyguard as she made her way around the West Village set, the 48-year-old was also seen brushing her teeth on the sidewalk.

The mother-of-two's slender figure was kept under wraps in a pair of dark printed trousers and a navy coat.

It appeared Naomi was also wearing thick stockings under her pants to shield from the Manhattan cold.

With her blonde locks worn in a wavy up-do, the Australian star was seen holding her phone and tooth brush in one hand as she stopped to clean her teeth.

A pair of black ankle boots and an oversized scarf completed her off-duty look.

She was later seen changing into a pair of brown leather boots. 

She was also seen sporting a full face of makeup underneath her glasses, which she wore sporadically.

In the upcoming 10-part thriller, Naomi portrays a therapist who develops relationships with the people in her patients' lives.

She stars alongside actor Billy Crudup, who plays her husband Michael in the psychological thriller.

Naomi appears to have thrown herself into work following her recent split from actor Liev Schreiber, 48.

The estranged couple, who share two children, announced their split via a joint statement in September.

In a joint statement, they said: 'Over the past few months we've come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple.

'It is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship.'

They added: 'While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy.'

They are parents to two sons: Alexander 'Sasha', nine, and seven-year-old Samuel Kai.
