They are known to be close pals, with the actress often taking her front row seat at the designer's catwalk shows.

But Salma Hayek and Stella McCartney joined forces in London on Monday night, as they hosted a VIP charity screening of award-winning documentary Sonita.

The 50-year-old actress looked as chic as always in a busty blue frock as she cosied up to friend Stella, 45, and her husband Francois-Henri Pinault, 54 at the bash - which was organised by his company, Kering.

The dress hugged each and every one of her womanly curves as it clung to her top section, enhancing her ample bust.

Featuring a slim oval cut-out at the chest, the frock then gave a subtly saucy flash of her cleavage before cinching in at her womanly waist with a matching chunky belt.

The trio had joined forces to screen the documentary, which follows a young Afghan rapper who fights against forced marriages, as part of the Kering Foundation's annual White Ribbon For Women campaign.
