The Graduate Office, in New Court Room E7, is staffed by Tessa Milne, who will be able to deal with most questions and queries. Office hours are usually Mondays 9.00am to 3.00pm and Tuesdays to Fridays 9.00 am to 5.30pm.

Dr Christopher Brookes is Tutor for Advanced Students. He is supported by the Graduate Tutors: Dr David Sneath looks after those in Social Sciences;  Dr Ewan St John Smith and Dr Sarah Bohndiek are Graduate Tutors for the scientists. Dr Patrick Zutshi will primarily advise those studying humanities subjects when he returns from leave in January 2017 — Dr Brookes is the interim Graduate Tutor for humanities students during Michaelmas 2016.

The Tutor for Advanced Students has overall academic and pastoral responsibility for the postgraduate students of the College and represents postgraduate interests on various College committees including the Executive and Governing Body. Each student is allocated to one of the Graduate Tutors, and if you have academic, financial or welfare problems of any kind you should make an appointment through Tessa Milne to see your Tutor (or one of the others if your Tutor is unavailable).

Each new graduate student will have an appointment with their Graduate Tutor in the middle of Michaelmas term. In the case of Masters students this will be part of a new feedback system involving the student, the University Faculty or Department, and the College.
