For many years now there has been a regular summer retreat at the beautiful abbey of Bec-Helouin in Normandy (www.abbayedubec.com) This year, the Corpus group visited from 11-15 August, which made it possible to celebrate the patronal festival with the the community, on the Feast of the Assumption (15 August).

The photos show the newly restored c15 bell tower, the group photo shows some of this year’s group with Frere Raphael, one of the monks.  The second to last picture shows the c17 monastery buildings with the guest wing on the right.  The last picture shows the puddings in the refectory at lunch time on the Feast of the Assumption.
