Corpus is well-known for providing good-quality student food at reasonable prices.  Lunch and dinner are served every day (except Saturdays when brunch is served instead) from the cafeteria adjacent to our Hall, while breakfast is available from the College bar each morning.  On average a two-course meal is around £3.50, and might consist of fish & chips, chicken curry or vegetable pasta.  In addition to this each student pays a Kitchen Fixed Charge (KFC) of £190 per term, which helps to pay for the cost of running the kitchens.

During term-time, there is also Formal Hall every Friday and Sunday.  As the name suggests, this is a formal three-course dinner with service. Tickets cost £9.35 for students at Corpus and £11.15 for guests from other colleges or outside the University.  Students often like to attend ‘formal’ with a group of friends, sometimes to celebrate a particular event.  It’s a great way to meet students in other subjects and relax after a hard day’s work. Our Formal Hall was recently given a 5* review in the student newspaper The Tab.

Shared gyp rooms (small kitchens) are available throughout Corpus for cooking simple meals. More extensive cooking facilities are available in some of our accommodation blocks, such as Newnham House.
