Services of Holy Communion, lasting 30 minutes, will be held at 12.30 pm on Wednesday 20 April, Thursday 5 May (Ascension Day), Thursday 19 May (St Dunstan), Tuesday 31 May (Visitation), Thursday 9 June (St Columba)

 

Thursday  20 October	Choral Compline 10.00 pm	Candlelit service of Night Prayer followed by refreshments in D4
Wednesday 26 October	Corporate Communion 6.30 pm	A chance for Christians in Corpus of all denominations to worship together, with a buffet supper afterwards.
Wednesday 2 November	All Souls’ Day 9.00 pm	Holy Communion.  During this beautiful choral service, the names of the faithful departed are read out.  For details and to include names, contact the Dean of Chapel.
Friday 11 November	Armistice Day commemoration 10.50 – 11.10 am	A short act of remembrance at the College Chapel
Sunday 13 November	Remembrance Sunday 10.50 am	A special celebration of Holy Communion, commencing with two minutes silence and the laying of wreaths to commemorate members of the College who have died in war-time.
Sunday 27 November	Advent Carol Service 4.30 pm	Traditional readings, hymns and anthems for Advent
Wednesday 30 November	Christmas Carol Service 6.00 pm	A festival of Christmas carols and readings
Friday 2 December	Commemoration of Benefactors	8.00 am Choral Holy Communion 7.00 pm Commemoration Service and Address

 

The CHAPEL exists for the glory of God. It is open daily. Everyone at Corpus, their families, friends and visitors are very welcome to the visit the Chapel, and to attend all services, no matter what their faith or denomination.

 

The DEAN OF CHAPEL, James Buxton, is readily available to all members and staff of the College at any time, with or without appointment. Everyone is welcome to call on him socially at his rooms (D4) or to talk to him about anything in confidence whether or not it is spiritual. Contact details overleaf.
