International Applicants

10012843_10152096075092663_714832749_oCorpus has a diverse student body, with a long tradition of accepting undergraduate students from across the world. Being a smaller college, many international students find it easy to settle in and make friends at Corpus, helping them to adjust to life in the UK. We welcome qualified applicants from both EU and non-EU countries, and potential students might find the University webpage for international applicants useful.

Although funding for international students is limited, Cambridge offers a small number of full scholarships for students from particular countries, and a larger number of part-scholarships funded by the Cambridge Trust. Students normally apply for these after an offer has been received. For those who still have a small shortfall remaining after receiving a Cambridge Trust award, Corpus is in some cases able to offer additional scholarships of up to £4,000.

In addition to this, Corpus offers two full scholarships to support non-UK students in their undergraduate studies in Cambridge. These are:

  • The Girdlers’ Scholarship, which is awarded yearly to a New Zealand citizen, who has have completed no fewer than 8 years of schooling in New Zealand. The value of the award is some £32,000 per year which is intended to cover university and college fees, and some living expenses. Full details on how to apply can be found on the Universities New Zealand website.
  • The Peter Windle Scholarship, awarded every third year to a student preferably from the South Island of New Zealand. The scholarship covers the tuition and College Fee as well as living costs for the duration of a three year degree. Applicants may be considered for this award by applying for the Girdler’s scholarship in the normal way (see above).
  • The Hong Kong Link Scholarship, which is awarded to an exceptionally strong student from Hong Kong to study for an undergraduate degree at Corpus Christi College.  This scholarship covers college fees, tuition fees and living expenses for a three year degree, and is awarded to students who would not normally have the means to study overseas. Recipients of this award are selected from those applying for the Prince Philip Scholarship in the normal way. For further information, please contact admissions@corpus.cam.ac.uk
