Research Associates

Research Associates

From a wish to offer greater opportunity for post-doctoral researchers without a college affiliation to participate in college life in Cambridge, Corpus’s Governing Body has decided to expand and widen its Research Associates scheme. The College invites applications for membership of the College as Research Associates.

A Research Associate at Corpus enjoys certain lunching and dining rights in the College and at Leckhampton (Corpus’s post-graduate campus on Grange Road), the use of sporting and library facilities, and a welcome to participate in College intellectual and academic activities. A fee of £100 per year is payable.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree, and preferably be early in their academic career. They should also have a research post in a Faculty or Department of the University, or in an associated institution. A reference letter from an established academic, who knows the applicant and who is not associated with Corpus Christi College, is required. The  individual writing the reference may be the Principal Investigator or head of the applicant’s research team.

Some applicants may wish to submit, in addition, a recommendation from a Fellow of the College, but this is not essential.

Those interested in applying should send to the Master’s Secretary at masters-secretary@corpus.cam.ac.uk an application letter and a CV. They should also arrange for their referee to send the reference letter direct to the Master’s Secretary.
