On Wednesday, Bella proudly shared an Instagram photo of her mother Yolanda showcasing her toned figure in a bikini.

The snapshot was a selfie that the 52-year-old appears to have sent to her youngest daughter during her travels.

It showed Yolanda pouting at the camera in a coral two-piece and a straw fedora, while the crystal clear ocean and a plunge pool could be seen behind her.

Bella captioned the snap simply: 'HI MAMA', adding a smiley faced emoji.

Yolanda is currently enjoying a tropical getaway at an 'undisclosed destination', although she has told her Instagram followers that she is there for a friend's wedding and will be celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday there.

Like her mother Yolanda, 20-year-old Bella was diagnosed with Lyme disease a few years ago.

Yolanda has documented her struggle with the debilitating illness on social media, having her breast implants removed and vowing to steer clear of extensions, Botox and nail polish.

And the model turned reality star appears to be feeling better, as earlier this month she shared a photo with the hashtag 'LifeInRemission'.

Yolanda told TMZ that the criticism was unfair, because Bella competed in equestrian riding from the age of three to 15, when she was forced to give up riding competitively and her dream of competing in the Olympics due to Lyme disease.

She added: 'You obviously don't have to be an athlete to wear or enjoy Nike wear.'
