Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has reportedly sent his 21-year-old daughter to a strict boarding school in Italy after her partying made headlines.

Page Six reports that while studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York Kyra Kennedy stopped going to class, prompting her father to send her off to Italy.

'She was really having a tough time, partying a lot,' a family friend told Page Six.

'It’s a very strict therapeutic school, with no Internet, no phones. The only communication is by mail,' the source said.

In August 2015 it was reported that Kyra's father was not at all pleased with her raunchy Instagram photos

Up until April, when Kyra shared a photo from Coachella music festival, JFK's great-niece regularly posted photos of herself partying on Instagram.

However, that month, it was reported that RFK Jr had banned Kyra from posting after she and a friend 'cyberbullied' a blogger who wrote about her.

The 62-year-old's reps told The New York Post that she was forced off social media after she used Instagram to bait New York Magazine writer Allie Jones, who had written a piece on Wednesday commenting on a New York Times profile about Kyra and her friends entitled Move Over, Rat Pack and Brat Pack: Here Comes the Snap Pack.

While Kyra and her friends appeared to have no gripes about the original piece, the socialite was apparently less than happy with Allie's subsequent remarks, and took to the writer's Instagram feed to comment on certain photos, writing one one image: 'I can play games too b***h.

In her original piece about Kyra and her pals Andrew Warren and Gaïa Matisse, Allie called the New York Times story a 'delightfully nauseating look into the lives' of the privileged twenty-somethings.

A rep for RFK Jr told The New York Post: 'Mr. Kennedy has spoken to Kyra and informed his daughter that their family does not bully people.

The party photos on Kyra's Instagram had been steadily increasing since the teen made her society debut at the Paris Bal des débutantes in Christian Dior in 2013

The fashion student shared photos that gave anyone with the internet a glimpse at her party lifestyle

This is the last photo Kyra posted on her Instagram account. It was taken at Coachella music festival

'He has instructed her to shut down all of her social media accounts immediately.'

Photos of the fashion student still remain visible on her Instagram page.

'I'm a mess but I make it look so good,' writes Kyra, whose mother Mary's suicide rocked the Kennedy clan in 2012, on her Instagram bio.

Back in March 2015, Kyra made headlines after she reportedly freaked out at staff at an upstate New York club when they refused to allow her in with a fake ID, screaming: 'I am a Kennedy, Google me!'

Kennedy allegedly threw a tantrum after being turned away from club Lava at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York.

The teen had reportedly tried to use 26-year-old Kick Kennedy's passport but couldn't remember her half-sister's birthday and was caught looking up the date of birth on Wikipedia by a security guard.

In 2013, the teen made her society debut at the Paris Bal des débutantes in Christian Dior.

She was accompanied by her father and his then girlfriend, actress Cheryl Hines. The couple married in 2014.
