Slip into style like Scarlett in her Maison Mayle dress

Wearing a lace-trim slip dress by Maison Mayle, Scarlett Johansson is channelling two of this season's biggest trends.

Not only does the dress tie into fashion's ongoing penchant for the lingerie look - as seen all over the catwalks recently but it also gives a nod to the 90s trend.

Slip dresses were huge in the 90s and have enjoyed a real revival recently. Thanks to these two trends both being at play it gives you a lot of styling options.

Keep on the boudoir-esque side of things by teaming your slip dress with some strappy sandals like Scarlett, or grunge it up for a 90s vibe by layering it over a t-shirt and finishing off with trainers and a denim jacket.

Scarlett's exact dress isn't available online but click right to snap up a similar style by the brand at Barneys. Alternatively, channel Scarlett's outfit with our high-street lookalikes below!

'Bada**': The 32-year-old star serves as the voice of Ash - a brokenhearted teen porcupine rocker

Scarlett serves as the voice of Ash - a brokenhearted teen porcupine rocker - who 'transforms into a bada**.'

'Once Ash understands that all of the attention, effort and energy she's been giving her worthless boyfriend has been standing in the way of her own musical gifts, she transforms into a badass,' Johansson told E! News last month.

The blonde beauty continued: 'Ash eschews outdated expectations that she should deliver a pop princess act on the stage and just rocks it out with original music. I adore her.'

The animated film follows a Koala (Matthew McConaughey) who conducts a singing competition show in an effort to keep his old theater in business.

The mother to two-year-old daughter Rose with French journalist fiancé Romain Dauriac said she was hesitant about letting her only child watch the movie.

'I think it would blow her mind,' she said at the film's premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Scarlett added: I imagine everything in her mind is a little bit sort of trippy to begin with, so I think just seeing my voice coming out of a porcupine like that, especially a punk rock porcupine, it might be a little overwhelming for her.'
