An eight-month-old baby who was thrown 30 feet from a car during a car crash was found unharmed beneath a drainage grate.
Texarkana Firefighter Josh Moore told WLOX that they found the baby girl three feet beneath the grate 'sitting up and looking up at us waiting for us to pull her out'.
The infant's family told first responders at the scene that after the crash they were unable to locate their child.

The baby's car seat was found outside of the car. It was determined that the seat wasn't properly installed
Firefighters were able to make the miraculous rescue with the help of a Good Samaritan, who was digging through a layer of hay over a grate, the station reported.
'There had to be some kind of divine intervention for her to end up being okay,' Moore said.
'She wasn't screaming, she wasn't crying, she was just sitting there waiting for us,' he added.
Moore told KSLA that they then 'reached down there and she more or less had her hands up for someone to pick her up'.
The baby was treated by EMTs on the scene.
She didn't suffer major injuries and only sustained a few scratches on her forehead.

The driver of an 18-wheeler was ticketed for improper and unsafe lane change. It's believed the driver clipped the car and caused the crash
Capt Charlie Smith told the station that 'so many times we go out and things aren't okay. And just during the holidays here to have a positive just feels good.'
The firefighters said they were worried about the mission being 'more of a recovery' rather than a rescue.
Police said the child's car seat wasn't installed correctly, but authorities didn't issue the family citations.
No one else was seriously injured.
