Zendaya proves her natural beauty as she sports wet hair and a fresh face for day out with Spider-man co-star Tom Holland in NYC

They spent a lot of time together this year as they filmed Spide-rman: Homecoming.

And it seems Zendaya and Tom Holland have remained firm friends since wrapping on the flick last month, as they took a stroll in New York together on Wednesday.

The actress, 20, appeared to be comfortable around Tom as she headed out for their day with wet hair and a make-up free face - displaying her striking natural beauty without.

She's always ahead of the style curve. And Zendaya was looking as fresh faced as ever with slicked back wet hair, no makeup and casual threads.

She oozed effortless teen as she threw on a denim Levis men's jacket over her black midi dress and Nike kicks. It was perfect daytime attire that got our attention for all the right reasons.

The jacket was easily recognizable as Levi's with its red and white tab label. But while the women's version of the jacket sells for $148, the exact same jacket for men clocks in at only $128.

What's not to love about saving a cool twenty for the same exact jacket. The only difference is the side of the snap buttons.

The Shake It Up star proved she is just as stunning without cosmetic help, going fresh-faced to show off an enviably clear and glowing complexion.

Keeping casual for the outing, the star also appeared to leave her hair wet from her morning shower - allowing it to dry into its natural, everyday state and drawing further attention to her gorgeous, smooth skin.

She maintained this comfortable, low-key vibe in her outfit - which was formed of a chic tight-fitting black dress which hugged her enviably slender figure.

She then layered a stylish denim jacket with cosy fur lining on top, and took to the streets of the Big Apple in simple black sports trainers.

Zendaya was joined on her morning out by co-star and friend Tom Holland - who has jetted to New York with the starlet to promote their new superhero movie.

The hunk opted for similarly casual but less glamorous tracksuit bottoms and a hoody, but added a vintage-style khaki denim jacket to give the look an edge.

A Brit through and through, Tom also clasped onto a warm mug of tea as the pair ventured out of their hotel.

The previous day, the duo had visited the NY Presbyterian Children's Hospital dressed as their characters to entertain and chat to their young, poorly fans.

Billy Elliot star Tom plays the web-wielding hero himself, while Zendaya portrays his classmate Michelle - not the iconic Mary Jane character.

She told Entertainment Tonight: 'I'm not Mary Jane unfortunately, but I am in the movie which is exciting,' - although she did not elaborate on whether the famous female will appear in the flick at all.

Meanwhile Tom has previously revealed that he couldn't control his excitement when he found out he'd be following in the footsteps of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield and play the world-renowned superhero.

However, he admitted to the Hollywood Reporter that he found out he had bagged the big role in a more unconventional way.

'I was in my bed scrolling through Instagram. Marvel just posted a photo saying go to our website and find out who the next Spider-Man is,' the actor explained.

The Impossible star continued: 'I went on the Marvel website on my computer and there it was: The new Spider-Man is Tom Holland. I went ballistic, like absolutely nuts.'

He later described his unique audition tape, which showed off some of his impressive dance and acrobatic skills as well as his acting talents.

'I was a gymnast when I was a kid, so I did a backflip, just to show Marvel that I could do that sort of stuff,' he boasted.
