Internet mogul Josh Harris now lives in grubby Las Vegas apartment in fear of FBI

Josh Harris (giving a talk top right in 2009)) pioneered webcam technology and made millions after predicting how the internet would grow in the 1990s. Now 56, he lives alone in Las Vegas with an army knife next to his sleeping bag. He believes he is under FBI surveillance and has been for years for his role in a mysterious art installation at the World Trade Center before the 9/11 attacks. The installation saw a group of performance artists apparently remove a window on the 91st floor of the North Tower in 2000 with suction pads and replace it with a balcony (circled main) where they stood, one by one and naked, at 6am on a March morning in 2000. Harris says he filmed the stunt and that authorities think he and others involved in it knew 9/11 would happen.

Vintage food ads reveal an unappetizing array of chicken paste and mustard pickles

While perfectly styled acai bowls are a dime a dozen on Instagram these days, the food advertisements of yesteryear did not look quite as appetizing. Before the days of Photoshop and the artfully scattered ingredients so popular in food styling today, ads for hot dogs, raisins and mustard pickles looked positively unsavory. While they may have tasted just fine, the aesthetics, along with the actual foods themselves, serve as a stark reminder of how much things have changed. One ad for canned chicken and veal paste, for example, shows the meat being pushed through a grinder, while another commercial for mustard pickles, pictures indistinguishable, yellow globs. Even among the foods that are still widely eaten today, the vintage advertisements show hot dogs in a suspiciously bright red shade, while cheddar cheese is openly touted as 'processed'. It's also fascinating to see how the taste for gourmet and health conscious foods, whether its artisanal cheese or even organic lollipops differs so drastically from the convenient canned goods favored in decades past.
