Everyone will be talking about Jose Mourinho kicking a bottle but it must not mask Manchester United’s poor start to the season. We normally see this kind of behaviour from Mourinho after three years at a club — not six months. It is clearly having a negative effect. This is United’s worst start to a campaign since 1990-1991 and they have not won at home in the league since September despite splashing out £160million on players.
'Anarchy does not work in any team or in any company': Hamilton risks losing £30m Mercedes deal for defying team orders as Rosberg wins F1 title
After the Briton lost his world title to Nico Rosberg, he was accused by team principal Toto Wolff of causing 'anarchy' with his defiance in the cockpit. Hamilton slowed down at the front, hoping Rosberg would come under pressure from drivers behind.
Jose loses his bottle: Mourinho sent to the stands after another outburst as United are held by West Ham at Old Trafford
IAN LADYMAN AT OLD TRAFFORD: Manchester United were held at home by West Ham as Jose Mourinho's frustration once again boiled over at Old Trafford. The opening quarter of the game was packed with action, with Diafra Sakho giving West Ham the lead after 90 seconds, before Zlatan Ibrahimovic equalised on 21 minutes, with Mourinho sent to the stands just a few minutes later for his wild protestations after Paul Pogba was booked for a blatant dive. With Mourinho watching from on high, United saw a number of chances come and go before ultimately settling for a draw.

Manchester United supporters were left stunned by the sighting of some real star quality at Old Trafford. Watching the entertainment unfold from the stands was Hollywood A-list movie star Julia Roberts.
Hamilton's backing-up ploy can't stop Nico: Rosberg holds on for second to claim title
JONATHAN McEVOY IN ABU DHABI: It was impossible, as the big sun dipped out of the desert sky, to understand all the influences raging in the minds of the two protagonists driving for Mercedes. What we can say is that in the fiercest fight of their lives, in the final race of the season, in the latest chapter of a rivalry that stretches back half their lifetimes, everything that mattered to them in motor racing was on the line. For Nico Rosberg, this was the chance to beat Lewis Hamilton for the first time. He had not done it when they were boy karters. He had never done it in the same equipment.
Sportsmail's F1 Awards of the Year: From the best driver to the race that had everyone gripped...
It's been one of the most dramatic seasons in Formula One history and hasn't been without its thrills and spills. Lewis Hamilton pushed Nico Rosberg all the way but couldn't become world champion for a fourth time. It's certainly been a year to remember and here Sportsmail's F1 correspondent Jonathan McEvoy gives out his F1 Awards of the Year.
Real Sociedad 1-1 Barcelona: Luis Enrique's side fall further behind Real Madrid in La Liga title race as Messi rescues a point
PETE JENSON IN SAN SEBASTIAN: Barcelona lost further ground in the La Liga title race after failing to win for a second game in a row. Willian Jose headed the home side in front early in the first half after the ball dropped to him in the middle of the penalty area, despite Gerard Pique's best efforts to hack it off the line. But their lead lasted only six minutes as Lionel Messi controlled Neymar's cut back from the byline and fired the ball into the bottom corner.
Jesus helps Palmeiras clinch record ninth Brazilian title ahead of move to Manchester City
Future Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has helped Palmeiras win its first Brazilian championship title in 22 years after a 1-0 home victory over Chapecoense on Sunday. Defender Fabiano scored the only goal on 26 minutes from the edge of the box to give the title to the Sao Paulo-based club with one game left. Palmeiras is now the only club to hold nine Brazilian championship titles, one ahead of Santos.
Sanchez at the double and Walcott weighs in as Arsenal stay in touch at the top
ARSENAL 3-1 BOURNEMOUTH - MATT BARLOW AT THE EMIRATES STADIUM: When it is November and the injuries are accumulating, Arsene Wenger will bank any win with a sigh of relief. Here was one of those days. Alexis Sanchez scored one early and another in stoppage-time and Theo Walcott nodded in the vital second after Bournemouth had levelled from a penalty by Callum Wilson. For Arsenal, it was a most welcome victory after three successive draws and it kept them in stride with the Premier League pace-setters.
Arsenal uber-fan Farah posts selfie with Ozil as Olympic hero visits Emirates to see win over Bournemouth
After claiming another two gold medals in the Rio Olympic Games, Mo Farah certainly deserved a prolonged rest as athletics moved into the off-season. Luckily for the double 5,000 and 10,000 meter champion, Arsenal, who he avidly and publicly supports, have been more than willing to entertain him so far this season. The Gunners have been in fine form and are currently unbeaten in their previous 19 games across all competitions.
Spry Saints hassle sorry Everton as Austin makes it a miserable return for Koeman
SAM CUNNINGHAM AT ST MARY'S: Ronald Koeman was defeated on his first return to Southampton and had to watch on as Josh Sims, a teenage debutant he deemed not good enough, tore his Everton side apart. Charlie Austin netted the match-winning goal, his ninth of the season, but winger Sims deservedly stole the plaudits for his performance. By the time he was substituted in the 84th minute, the Southampton crowd’s early acerbic reaction to their former manager, who walked out on them in the summer lured by a £6million-per-year contract and a substantial transfer kitty, were left far behind as they gave the latest youngster to step up from the academy a standing ovation.
Taylor set for home world title fight in Ireland marking debut with blitz against Kopinska
Katie Taylor will fight for a world title in Ireland in 2017 as her professional career began with a ruthless victory in London on Saturday. Her debut was slated for six two-minute rounds against Karina Kopinska of Poland at the Wembley Arena, but 58 seconds into the third round the fight was stopped as Taylor overpowered the underdog. And promoter Eddie Hearn said Taylor, who fights in Manchester on December 10, will fight in America and in Europe before returning to Ireland for her first world title bid. That is expected to be in the second half of next year, possibly by the end of the summer.

Neymar escapes unhurt after crashing £240,000 Ferrari on his way to Barcelona training ground
Neymar crashed his Ferrari 458 Spider on the way to Barcelona’s training ground on Sunday morning but escaped unhurt after the incident. The 24-year-old was driving to meet up with team-mates before their flight to San Sebastian for Sunday's meeting with Real Sociedad when the crash occurred. He was leaving the motorway in his £240,000 sports car when he appeared to lose control on the slip road that was wet from overnight rain.
Celtic keep Treble dream alive as Rogic, Forrest and Dembele down the Dons to hand Rodgers his first trophy as boss
CELTIC 3-0 ABERDEEN - STEPHEN McGOWAN AT HAMPDEN: Celtic supporters can dare to dream now. For this old club domestic trebles are as rare as a Moussa Dembele mis-hit. Securing the 100th major trophy of their 128 year history with this emphatic League Cup triumph over a dogged Aberdeen team, however, it’s natural to ask now. Who might stop them? Brendan Rodgers secured the first major trophy of his managerial career in some style. As a chasm opens at the summit of the SPFL Premiership we already know this much. It won’t be his last.

CHILD SEX ABUSE SCANDAL ROCKS FOOTBALL
Supporters fearing sexual abuse revelations will stick to Crewe's name like mud
SAM CUNNINGHAM: Shortly before kick off of Crewe Alexandra's trip to Colchester United two home fans queued for tickets. 'Why are all the press here?' one asked the other, indicating the national news television cameras, reporters and cameramen amassed outside the Weston Homes Community Stadium reception entrance. 'It's about the paedos at Crewe,' the other replied. The recent revelations are sticking the club's name like mud. And that is the fear of Crewe supporters who have read about and watched on television how their club was used by terrifying predator Barry Bennell to sexually abuse young boys he promised to make into star footballers for years in the 1980s.

Seattle Sounders beat Colorado Rapids to reach first MLS Cup final
Jordan Morris scored the goal as the visiting Seattle Sounders beat the Colorado Rapids 1-0 to advance to their first MLS Cup final on Sunday. The Sounders won the Western Conference finals series 3-1 over the two-leg tie and handed the Rapids their first home defeat of the season. Brian Schmetzer's team are headed to the final after narrowly missing out twice in the past five seasons. They lost to LA Galaxy in 2012 and 2014, and both times the Galaxy went on to win the title.
Lyon 1-2 PSG: Cavani brace fires French champions one point off leaders Nice in Ligue 1
Edinson Cavani scored twice as the French champions PSG edged out a resilient Lyon side at Stade des Lumieres. Cavani continued his impressive run of form as he converted from the spot to give his side the lead after Thiago Motta was brought down by Maxime Gonalons. The visitors lead heading into half-time but shortly after the break Mathieu Valbuena struck an equaliser. But it was the Uruguayan who would have the final say. His close range header nine minutes from time wrapped up all three points.
Petrov keeps Villa on track as they beat Virgin Trains in social media grudge match
With Nico Rosberg overcoming Lewis Hamilton and Chelsea prolonging Tottenham's 26-year wait for a win at Stamford Bridge, this wasn't the biggest grudge match of the weekend. But Aston Villa were still very happy to settle a score with Virgin Media trains after an XI including Stiliyan Petrov beat the company's social media team 6-2 in a friendly on Sunday.
Simeone the star for Genoa as Diego's boy downs Serie A leaders Juve with brace...
More than 16 years after his father scuppered Juventus' title hopes, Giovanni Simeone has halted the Bianconeri's charge to a sixth successive Serie A title. Simeone scored two goals to set Genoa on its way to a surprise 3-1 win over Juventus on Sunday. Juventus remained four points ahead of AC Milan, who won 4-1 at Empoli on Saturday. Roma can move back level with Milan with a win at home to relegation-threatened Pescara later.
And his dad enjoys his Sunday as Atletico leap into La Liga top four with easy win at Osasuna
Atletico Madrid kept pace with the leading pack in La Liga by easing to a 3-0 victory over Osasuna. Diego Simeone's side were in the ascendancy for the majority of the tie, in which two quick-fire first half goals put the result beyond all doubt. Defender Diego Godlin opened the scoring for Atleti with a close range header from a Koke corner, before french forward Kevin Gameiro added a second just one minute later with a low, right-footed drive.
Monaco 4-0 Marseille: Germain stars in a win that leaves Ligue 1 club averaging OVER THREE goals a game
Monaco's firepower was far too hot to handle for Marseille as the Principality side moved top of the French Ligue 1 standings with a 4-0 home win on Saturday. Gabriel Boschilia, Guido Carrillo and Valere Germain (2) struck for Monaco who have 32 points from 14 matches and average more than three goals per game - more than any other team from the five big leagues in Europe. They lead second-placed Nice on goal difference, before their neighbours play their game in hand at home against Bastia on Sunday.

Already 1-0 up in the two-match series courtesy of an eight-wicket win in Christchurch, New Zealand declared their second innings at 313 for five, just after Taylor reached his milestone, to set Pakistan a victory target of 369.
Wasps 34-24 Sale: Sharks stung by former players as hosts run out comfortable winners
Wasps maintained their impressive form at the Ricoh Arena with a comfortable 34-24 win over Sale. It was Wasps' 16th home win of 2016 as they remain unbeaten at the venue with Sale never looking likely to end that record as they were flattered by two late converted tries. DOMINIC KING: Memories to last a lifetime... how the wiry teenager became Liverpool's trophy-winning captain
DOMINIC KING: It was over a plate of scrambled eggs, mushrooms and toast last Christmas that Steven Gerrard first raised the prospect that the end was coming. He had been back on Merseyside for the winter break, enjoying time with his family and friends. A return to Los Angeles was imminent but, before he went, he had breakfast at The Vincent, the city centre restaurant he co-owns, with the local media to discuss his American adventure. There was also talk about what the future might hold.
