'You'd hear him in the bathroom with a lighter doing crack': Former drug dealer reveals SHOCKING extent of Keith Urban's addiction

Keith Urban smoked crack cocaine in his drug dealer's bathroom during the height of his addiction, Woman's Day has reported.

From 1994 to 2001, former dealer David Dobson supplied drugs to the country music singer.

In an interview with the publication on Monday, David has claimed Keith was so addicted to crack he would do things the drug dealer was 'totally against'.

New allegations: Keith Urban used to smoke crack in his drug dealer's bathroom, according to an interview with his former supplier David Dobson on Monday

'He'd say, I'm gonna take a shower, and you'd hear him in the bathroom with a lighter doing crack,' David said.

'I'd get mad and go, "Quit doing that s**t in my house!"'

While David believes there is only so long the country music star can stay clean, he acknowledges that Keith's marriage to Nicole Kidman has been his saving grace.

Saving grace: The former dealer says he believes Nicole has kept him clean but fears Keith (pictured in his younger years) could relapse again in the future

'She's doing something to be keeping those demons off him,' he said.

'I just don't know if it'll last.'

But the couple has battled their share of Keith's drug demons.

Tough times: Months after the couple wed in 2006, Keith entered rehab for addiction treatment

Only months after their fairytale wedding in 2006, Keith was in rehab after suffering a relapse.

Last week, Nicole opened up about her husband's struggles with addiction, saying it was ultimately up to Keith to save himself.

'At some point, you just have to say, 'I love you and I'm here when you decide to do the work. If you don't, then that's it",' the 49-year-old told People magazine

Revelations: Keith opened up about his drug use to Rolling Stone, revealing he first smoked cocaine after being offered it by a housemate

Keith, 49, opened up about his drug use to Rolling Stone magazine in June, telling the publication that he first smoked freebased cocaine - a purer form of crack cocaine - in the 1990s after he was offered it by a roommate.

'And then one day he offered me this massive pipe,' he said.

'I'd never had it, it looked good, so I took it. Things didn't immediately go pear-shaped, but that was the beginning of it.'

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Keith Urban for comment.
