She's a charmer! Animal lover January Jones bravely poses with gigantic python and tarantula

January Jones played hostess to a couple of idiosyncratic guests over Thanksgiving weekend.

A pair of Instagram photos she uploaded on Sunday saw her posing with them in various rooms with them.

These two guests were a colossal snake - which appeared to have been an albino Burmese python - and a tarantula.

Gentle-serpents prefer blondes: On Sunday, January Jones uploaded an Instagram photo of herself posing with what appeared to be an albino Burmese python

Her wavy blonde hair fell free onto her shoulders, and she'd thrown on a comfortable-looking midnight blue knit jumper.

She complemented the top with a pair of black trousers, allowing the snake to wind itself about her neck and over her arms like a shawl.

In the caption to that photo, the Mad Men star reassured her fans she was safe, quipping: 'Ssss'no big deal.'

The following photo was much closer to its subjects face, and she held both hands palms-upward to the camera.

Furry friend: She also posed with a tarantula who crawled about her palms

A large tarantula clambered across her hands, climbing over towards her wrists as the 38-year-old smiled broadly.

Her caption to that picture affected a similarly breezy attitude about the animal she was holding: 'Sunday's, am I right??'

The previous evening, she'd shared a text conversation she'd had with a friend Nichoelle, who'd been watching Tone Lōc's appearance at the #ILoveThe90s concert in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where Jones was born.

'Classic Ton Loc [sic]': The previous day, the Sioux Falls native had shared a text conversation she'd had with a friend called Nichoelle, who'd been watching Tone Lōc perform in the South Dakota town

As TMZ have reported, his legs gave onstage whilst he performed his song Wild Thing, to the point a friend had to catch him as he fell. He then left the stage.

He did return and complete his engagement, and the following day a representative for the rapper assured the site the 50-year-old had recovered from whatever the problem was.

When Nichoelle informed Jones that 'ton loc [sic] just fell off the stage,' the Good Kill actress replied: 'Hahahahaha,' adding 'Amazing,' and continuing, 'Pics?'

Her final text was: 'Classic Ton Loc [sic],' and her caption read: 'Missing an epic 90's concert apparently. Nichoelle is keeping me updated thank god. #wildthing'.
