  3. The Hermes (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I have been on Wikipedia since 2006. After a break, I have come back post-retirement, to devote myself full-time to Wikipedia. I am fully convinced that Wikipedia is going to be the ultimate repository of all human knowledge and that post-retirement writing/editing on Wiki is going to be my best occupation. Access to this resource can enhance my work very much. I have a solid background in science. The Hermes (talk) 14:57, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

  5. Fuhghettaboutit (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I am a regular contributor, with about 87,000 edits (including deleted). I write on a variety of subjects (though lately I've been working on a variety of bird articles, and am hoping the content will include articles on particular species): I've had 10 articles, predominantly written by me, achieve good status and 3 have been promoted as featured articles – with a few in the pipeline. I often use research access to help others with their writing efforts here, as well as to check sources for verification. I also spend quite a bit of time checking claimed and suspected copyright violations, which requires access to a diversity of sources.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 00:24, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

  6. Ciridae (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I've been on Wikipedia for over 7 months now. I'm currently concentrating on fiction literature and other novel articles but I also perform gnomish tasks all around the place. Ciridae (talk) 10:18, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
Hi Ciridae. Looks like you qualify for access but I want to make sure I set you up with the right fit. Check out http://www.mitpressjournals.org/ and see if any of those are really going to help you with fiction articles. Also, check out the other 50+ resources we have available for you. Let me know, and ping me back. Cheers! {{u|Checkingfax}} {Talk} 09:43, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
@Checkingfax: There are a few journals under Arts & Humanities such as October which do have articles on literature. As an aside, fiction literature is something that I'm currently focusing on but I'm also interested in computer science (I'm a software engineer by profession). This is something that these journals would help with. Thanks in advance. Ciridae (talk) 05:26, 24 March 2016 (UTC)

  7. K CMS (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I've been here for four years, jumping back and forth between English and Tagalog Wikipedia, working with geography and history-related articles. Moreover, I am translating science-related articles from English Wikipedia for Tagalog Wikipedia. I am recently working with science-related articles for English and Tagalog Wikipedia, and if I am granted access to MIT Press Journals, I will be able to curate and review new and existing science-related articles, as well as articles about technology, social sciences, and my existing article subjects of interests, much better than before, integrating the press journals' credible information, which I always spend several hours for to find. k_cms (talk) 10:40, 18 March 2016 (UTC)

  8. Arjunkrishna90 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I actively edit English Wikipedia especially in Hinduism, Hindu Mythology and Hindu Spirituality topics. I found out extensive collection of scholarly works and data related to Ancient Hindu Sciences, Hindu Arts & Festivals, Hinduism & its Mythology in MIT Library. I would like to use these scholarly works to expand articles, read reliable background information and improve references. Most of the articles related to Hinduism and its mythology in Wikipedia lack scholarly references and usually subject to vandalism. I need access to good reference material to improve the quality and standards of articles. Arjunkrishna90 (talk) 11:06, 25 March 2016 (UTC)

  18. InformationvsInjustice (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I have been contributing more recently as part of a decision to increase my involvement in the community and improve content in the areas in which I have something to offer. I am involved in the Ancient Rome and Greece project. Inadequate sourcing is endemic in many of the pages of interest to the project. I have just finished a complete revision of the Romulus and Remus article and the creation of a separate Romulus article. I have a J.D. and strong research and writing skills.
