'Still mourning Sparty': Coco Austin postpones baby Chanel's first birthday party after her bulldog's tragic death

On Sunday Coco Austin posted the tragic news that her beloved bulldog Sparticus, 'my first baby,' had passed away after complcations following knee surgery.

And on Tuesday she revealed that she had postponed her daughter Chanel's first birthday party, which should have been the day before, because she is still mourning her pup's loss at just six-years-old.

'I feel I needed to honor Sparty before a celebration,' the 37-year-old revealed in a Instagram with a double snap of herself with Chanel taken on the day she was born.

The caption continued: 'One year ago yesterday I got the best gift in the world @babychanelnicole Happy Birthday baby girl! The love I have for her no words can explain.

'This is the moment I met her for the 1st time right out of the womb ...because I've been mourning over Spartacus's pass I put Chanel's Birthday on hold.'

The snaps showed Coco in full make-up, false eyelashes and pink lipstick as she snuggles with the tot on her chest.

On Sunday, the grieving celebrity wrote:'My heart is hurting tremendously. Today Sparty died after knee surgery complications. He was my 1st baby with Ice. There'll never be another dog like him.

'Everybody that knew him thought he was very human like and so lovable.. His full name was Spartacus The Supermodel.. He was only 6.. I have been crying my brains out I'm shocked!'

Coco and rapper-actor husband Ice-T, 58, are also proud parents to another bulldog, Maximus.

Ice-T took to twitter with his own message about Spartacus on Sunday.

Tiny tribute: Even baby Chanel took to Instagram to send a message about Sparty, saying, 'He was a cuddler and a lover.. I had a short time with him here on earth but worth every minute'

'Terrible News: This morning I lost my Best Friend…Spartacus died from complication after surgery...He had cancer in his knee…So sad,' he wrote.

The celebrity duo's pups have their own Instagram page, spartandmax, that Coco has said will continue so that Max can still post snaps.

On Sunday she shared a tribute from Max's point of view, saying: 'I lost my Best Friend today also known as my father, "Spartacus The Supermodel" We were 2 pees in a pod. Who will I play with now? (Max Voice).'
