We just say, "that's daddy's song," that I wrote the song.'

The song was written for Justin's new movie Trolls, for which he not only provided the voice for the character Branch, but he was also executive music producer.

Recently, Justin and his wife Jessica Biel took Silas out trick-or-treating in full Trolls costumes.

Both he and his son dressed up like Branch for the Halloween fun, though Justin also revealed that the kid doesn't know that his dad'plays the character in the film.

'I think that Branch is [just] Branch for him right now,' the 35-year-old singer explained.

Justin recently visited Australia to promote Trolls, and during a Sydney pitstop he was interviewed by Ruby, the two-year-old daughter of 2DayFM presenter Rove McManus.

Interviewing the 'troll man': Rove McManus' daughter Ruby, 2, recorded a series of adorable questions to ask Justin

Ruby's star turn questioning Justin was so entertaining it caused her dad's co-host, Sam Frost, to proclaim the two-year-old was better at interviewing than her.

The toddler had the honour of questioning the singer, nicknamed 'troll man', during a pre-recorded interview.

Rove explained that his daughter had begged him for the chance to interview the music sensation after taking a strong liking to his character in Trolls.

'I said how about this: when daddy talks to the troll man - as Justin Timberlake has now become known - maybe you could help ask a question,' the father of one said.

Justin, who has a one-year-old son named Silas, seemed amused by the line of questioning and was more than happy to play along.

In the wide-ranging interview, Ruby recorded questions asking the Sexy Back singer what was his 'favourite thing at the troll party', 'what do you like to eat troll' and 'why is your hair so long'.

'Is that a real person?' Justin asked Rove.

'Yes that's my child,' the comedian replied.

'She sounds just like you,' Justin said, jokingly.

After the interview finished, Sam warned Rove that his daughter could replace him one day.

'I love it, so cute,' Sam said. 'Ruby you are a better interviewer than I am so well done.'

Future rival? Sam said Ruby could be going for Rove's job someday and that the toddler was a better interviewer than her
