Fooling Your Senses18 March 2016

Join us for our first Cambridge Science Festival dinner, and dine within the historic setting of Corpus Christi College. The evening starts with a pre-dinner drink followed by a delicious three-course meal and coffee. We’ll be playing a little with your senses, so come prepared to savour the juxtaposition of sweet and savoury. No previous food science experience required!

A Taste of Corpus - 11 Sept 2015

Corpus Christi opened its doors to the public for a shared dinner event on the 11th September 2015. The evening started off with a drinks reception on Old Court lawn, followed by a delightful three-course meal with tea and coffee in our wonderful dining hall. A big thank you to all the staff and students involved, who helped make the event such a success.

NSPCC Fishy Feast21 March 2015

This sell-out evening kicked off with a drinks and canapés, created by infusion4chefs, followed by a short introduction with tales from the UK fishing industry, presented by Marrfish. Each dish on our 7-course fish menu was prepared by an industry expert. All proceed went to the NSPCC

The 2015 competition was back, and it was BIGGER AND BETTER then before!  All three competitions took place over two days, at Cambridge Regional College, a fantastic event for all involved – organisers, competitors, sponsors and attendees!

Our very own Inseok Oh scooped 1st prize in the Live Class ‘Street Food Challenge’ with James Circuit, Matt Dakin, Michael Thorley and Phil Shepherd taking 2nd prize for the La Parade des Chefs – congratulations to all who took part especially the Corpus team!

Ramen Noodles | Slurp! – 03 Feb 2015
The Stephen Hales talk was given by Dr Barak Kushner, on ‘Slurping your way through modern Japanese history: Noodles, Nationalism and the Myths of Japanese Food Culture’. This was followed by an amazing noodle feast. An extremely successful, sell-out, evening and we can’t wait for the next one!

Queenborough Feast – 06 Feb

The feast was set up to strengthen the relationship between the College and the city, and the Mayor and a number of elected city councillors are invited to the dinner each year, in addition to representatives of the Worshipful Company of Skinners and the Girdlers’ Company. With the help of Matt Dakin, Junior Sous Chef, we were able to capture the event from start to finish, to see behind-the-scenes footage of the team hard at work;

Continual staff training is important to all companies, so we have been working with Cambridge Regional College for the last few years to offer relevant and affordable training courses. We have recently added new dates due to the high demand, take a look at our training courses page for further details.

The end of June 2014 saw the annual Graduation Dinner for 131 people and the Master’s Garden Party for 400 people taking place. With the help of Michael Thorley, Deputy Head Chef, we were able to capture the events from start to finish, to see behind-the-scenes footage of the team hard at work.
