'At least let me put my tongue away next time': Scott Eastwood has a dig at Sydney paparazzi for snapping 'creepy' beach photo of him with mystery woman

Scott Eastwood has had a dig at Sydney paparazzi after they captured a picture of him with a mystery woman on the beach.

The actor - who's in the city filming the Pacific Rim sequel - took to Instagram on Tuesday, and re-posted the image of himself in the ocean with the female swimmer.

'Thank you Sydney paparazzi for trying to capture my playful side, but instead making me look like a total creep,' Scott, 30, captioned the snap.

Unimpressed: Scott Eastwood has had a dig at Sydney paparazzi after they captured a picture of him with a mystery woman on the beach

'Can't a guy have an innocent splash fight in peace? At least let me put my tongue away next time.'

He then used the hashtags: #creep #30s #oldguyshit #loveit.

The mystery woman's identity is still unknown, though they seemed to know each other more than just randomly meeting on the beach.

Having fun: The actor has praised his time in Sydney with various social media posts doing different activities, like combat training

Scott has been making the most of his off time from filming Pacific Rim: Maelstrom by hitting the beach and exploring Australia with his pals.

As well as going out for dinner in Sydney, he's been hanging out with kangaroos and having a laugh at The Big Banana Fun Park.

His role in the Pacific Rim sequel has yet to be named but he'll playing a supporting character to John Boyega's Pentecost, the son of Idris Elba's character, Stacker, from the original film.

Fun times: He also visited a theme park with the mystery girl and a few more pals

It seems the production - directed by Steven S. DeKnight and produced by original director Guillermo del Toro and Thomas Tull, Mary Parent and Jon Jashni - are looking to maximise Pacific Film's popularity in China by adding more than few Chinese stars to the cast.

Zhang Jin, Wesley Wong, Lily Ji, Qian Yong Chen, Chen Zitong, Lang Yingying and Xiao Yang have landed roles in Maelstrom, which is said to be set after the defeat of the Kaijus.

The story will look at how how the world is handling life after they are gone, though of course it wouldn't be much of a movie if they didn't make a reappearance.
