And Adriana Lima and Kendall Jenner seemed to get on famously backstage at the Victoria's Secret 2016 show in Paris on Wednesday.

Kendall, 21, was seen making a cheeky grab for 35-year-old Kendall's derriere as they larked about in their dazzling lingerie behind the scenes at the Grand Palais.

Kendall, who was marking her second time walking for the lingerie brand, looked sensational in her racy red lingerie set, which was teamed with matching thigh-high suede boots, as she let off some steam backstage.

Adriana meanwhile was rocking a sexy purple bra and and tiny panties teamed with yellow over-the-knee boots as she cuddled up to gorgeous Kendall.

The two beauties walked the annual show with an army of Angels, after jetting into Paris over the weekend on the VS private jet.

And it seems Adriana and Kendall have struck up a close bond after their hectic few days in Paris, with the older model coming out fighting for the newcomer.

The likes of Kendall and her pals Gigi and Bella Hadid, who've built their careers off their Instagram pages, have come under fire from some for stealing the limelight from the more experienced models.

Adriana, who has been with the lingerie brand for 16 years, though came to 21-year-old Kendall's defense in a new E! News interview ahead of Wednesday night's show, insisting her younger counterpart has every right to be on the runway.

'I have worked with Kendall on runways before when we were in Europe, like Versace and also with Victoria's Secret,' she said.

'Kendall is very sweet and very nice, and it's always pleasant to work with someone like that.'

She went on to praise the younger star's work ethic and perfect fit in the Victoria's Secret family.

'You know, she works as hard as we do, so I give her credit for all the effort,' she added. 'And I think she is going to do great because Victoria's Secret is all about personality, and she has her own personality.'

The Weeknd, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars were also providing the entertainment for Wednesday night's extravaganza, performing as Kendall, Adriana and co modelled the VS lingerie.

The show will air on TV on December 5.
