An insight into the Beckham's world: Aspiring snapper Brooklyn, 17, announces release of debut photography book What I See

He spent the summer in New York fine tuning his photography skills.

And it seems Brooklyn Beckham's hard work has paid off since the 17-year-old star is set to release his first collection of images.

David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son has confirmed the release of What I See, which will hit the shelves in May 2017.

The glossy book will be comprised of 300 images taking by the budding snapper, as well as new pictures of the teen star.

Publishers Penguin Random House teased that the photos 'offer his followers a rare glimpse at the world through his eyes'.

Brooklyn also shared the news on his Instagram account, announcing the news in typically arty fashion with a collage.

He told his 8.8 million followers: 'The full cover of my book 'what I see' hope you like it. Link to pre order and signed copies in bio'.

Francesca Dow, managing director of Penguin Random House Children's, commented: 'Brooklyn Beckham's images inspire a generation across the globe, and this book will give his fans a broader insight into the world seen through his unique and creative perspective.'

The talented teen was given an insight into the world of high fashion when he shot Burberry's Brit fragrance campaign in London.

It starred an all-British cast of newcomers including Ben Rees, Lewis Helim, Todd Dorigo, Eliza Thomas, Liv Mason Pearson, Maddie Demaine, Carvell Conduah and Harry Pourdjis.

David previously said of Brooklyn: 'I have always said to my children, as long as they have a passion for something, we will encourage it.

'He loves football, but has a passion for photography as well.'
