Without ever mentioning Kinney's name, the six-time Grammy winner continued, 'We're not trying to make you less of a man. We just want you to love us as deeply and as wholesomely and as fully as we love you.'

The songstress also talked about her latest album, Joanne, which is more emotional than club-like and an obvious departure from her previous four records. 'There's a lot of crying. A lot of pain. A lot of learning about myself,' Gaga said.

Gaga and her longtime Chicago Fire beau got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2015 and broke up this past July.
